Vanessa Cardui is one of the most widely spreaded butterfly species. It lives in temperate and tropical zones of the entire planet. During life, it’s flying long distances (around 1000 miles), often migrating. In temperate areas can be found from spring to autumn, in clearings and forest edges.
The image was created with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikon 55-200mm VR AF-S f/4-5.6G ED lens, using these settings: exposure time – 1/320 seconds, focal length – 200 mm, ISO – 200, F- number – 5,6.
