Dandelion, a common herb spread on North America and Eurasia

Dandelion is an herb commonly found in temperate zones of Eurasia and North America. The name dandelion comes from the French – dent the lion, and lion’s teeth means, name gear inspired by the shape of leaves that look like teeth. It is an edible plant, is also known in folk medicine as having many therapeutic properties.
The picture was taken using a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D AF lens, with the following settings: focal length – 50 mm, exposure time – 1/320 sec, ISO – 100, lens aperture – F/4,5.
