Daisy fleabane is the common name of Erigeron annuus. Originally from North America, currently, is widespread in Central Europe too. It blooms in late spring. In traditional medicine, the tea prepared from this plant is known for its diuretic properties and for treatment of digestive diseases. It contains a volatile oil which helps to cure bronchitis and cystitis. If is burned it may be used to keep away the insects.
The image was captured with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX lens, using these settings: focal length – 55 mm, exposure time – 1/500 sec, ISO – 200, F number – F/5,6.
