Field Chickweed (Cerastium arvense) is a perennial plant, often known as an invasive species, less demanding on soil quality. It grows up to altitudes of 3400 meters. It is common in North and South America and Europe. Maximum height attainable is about 45 centimeters. Blooms from April until August. Flowers are white and have 10 petals and 10 stamens.
The image was created with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikon 55-200mm VR AF-S f/4-5.6G ED lens using these settings: exposure time – 1/250 seconds, focal length – 200 mm, ISO – 200, F- number – 5.6.
