Thymus serpyllum, known as Wild Tyme, is a plant with a strong odor and flavor. The oil extracted from the aerial parts is used in the herbal medicine as aphrodisiac. It can be consumed both raw and dried, as a spice in the food or herbal tea. In the flowers language, it symbolizes the strength and courage.
The image was captured with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikon 55-200mm VR AF-S f/4-5.6G ED lens, using these settings: exposure time – 1/13 seconds, focal length – 190 mm, ISO – 100, F- number – 22.
