The glacier lake Peleaga (also known as Papusa or Ghimpele), with an area of 1.70 hectares, is located in the mountains Retezat Godeanu (Romania), under the Peleaga peak (2509 meters), at an altitude of 2112 meters. The only species of fish that inhabit is the trout.
The image was captured using a Canon PowerShot A550 camera with the following settings: exposure time – 1/320 sec, focal length – 6 mm, ISO – 80, lens aperture – F/7.1.
