The south western part of the Calimani Mountains, seen from the Pietrosu peak (2100 meters), the tallest in this massive and also the highest peak of volcanic origin in Romania. The landscape is shaded by clouds carried by a strong wind, and the visibility to the distance is affected by the moisture from the air. The weather is unstable.
The picture was taken with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX lens, using these settings: focal length – 46 mm, exposure time – 1/100 sec, ISO 400, lens aperture – 5,3.
