Toaca Peak (1904 meters altitude) is located in the Ceahlau Massif – Romania, being the second, like height, after the Ocolasu Mare (1907 meters). Around the date of August 6, at sunrise, its shadow overlaps with that of the other nearby rocks, obtaining a three-dimensional projection with pyramid shape, like a hologram phenomenon, which has given rise over time to much controversy and legends.
The picture was captured with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX lens, using these settings: focal length – 35 mm, exposure time – 1/100 sec, ISO 400, lens aperture – 4,8.
