Brick Cap (Hypholoma sublateritium) is considered poisonous in Europe and edible in North America

Hypholoma sublateritium, known also as Brick Cap,mostly can be found in groups, on the stumps of the deciduous trees. Usually appears in autumn, after the first frost. Is widespread in North America where is an edible fungus, and Europe where is considered a poisonous mushroom (probably due to bitter taste).
The image was taken using a Nikon D40X camera with Nikon 55-200mm VR AF-S f/4-5.6G ED lens and these settings: exposure time – 1/125 seconds, ISO – 100, focal length – 160mm, lens aperture – F/5,3.
