Puffball - a small mushroom that is white when is young, becoming then brown

Common puffball (Lycoperdon perlatum) is a small mushroom with a height up to7cm, widespread on the grassy lands, at the edge of the forests, from the summer season to late autumn. It has on the surface many nodules with conical form. The mushroom is edible when is young and has a pure white gleba. At maturity its color is changing in yellow, becoming then brown.
