This water spring is situated in Balvanyos resort, Covasna County, Romania. Under action of the rich emanations of carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and oxide of iron, water which comes to the surface is strongly mineralized.
The picture was captured with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX lens, using these settings: focal length – 18 mm, exposure time – 1/25 sec, ISO 100, lens aperture – 4.5.
