Water swirling continuosly in the river bed

The water flows swirling in the river bed, full of boulders, forming continuosly new vortices. The air is mixed continuously with water forming an aerated mixture, constantly effervescence. It results from this process an air rich in negative ions. It is well know the benefic effect of the negative ions on metabolic processes of the human body.
The picture was created using a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D AF lens, with the following settings: focal length – 50 mm, exposure time – 1/800 sec, ISO – 200, lens aperture – F/1,8.
