It’s a sunny day of late autumn. The road, which climbs to the forest, is frequently crossed in this time of the year by heavy carts, drawn by horses, loaded with firewood. When it rains, the soil is soft and the wheels sank deep into the mud. But now it’s quiet. Only traces printed deep in the ground remember by the occupation of the nearby villagers.
