In May of each year is blooming the hawthorn, wide spread in temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. The Greeks and Romans considered it as a symbol of renewed life and fertility, its twigs being used in wedding processions.
The image was captured with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX lens, using these settings: focal length – 23 mm, exposure time – 1/250 sec, ISO 100, lens aperture – 8.
