On a cliff edge, a fir tree grew. Its roots, not too deep, are fixed in the cracks, and therefore the tree resists even better than the other against the strong winds, which often beat these highlands, maintaining permanently its risk of rupture. But now it’s a beautiful winter day, and the whole landscape covered in snow is bathed in a pleasant light, creating over everything an aura of optimism.
The picture was created with a Nikon D60 camera and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX lens, using these settings: focal length – 18 mm, exposure time – 1/160 sec, ISO 200, lens aperture – 9.
