Free Big Pictures is a collection of high resolution images available for download. There are photos inspired by nature, presenting the beautiful views offered by mountain scenes, garden flowers and wildflowers, trees and forests in summer time or in autumn colors, white winter snow, sunsets, storm clouds, twisting roads, mountain lakes, rivers and streams. This is the place where you will find free images – up to 3600 x 2410 px / 300 DPI resolution, excellent for large size prints – 12 x 8 inches at 300 DPI (or 50 x 33″ at 72 DPI). These big images may also be used as desktop backgrounds, wallpapers, for Power Point presentations, websites, magazines and many other applications. Most of the high resolution pictures present in this website were taken using a 10 megapixel digital SLR camera (Nikon D40X) with different objectives (Nikon AF-D 50mm f/1.8, Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II AF-S DX, Nikon AF-S 55-200mm f/4-5.6 G ED DX VR). We shoot in RAW format in order to obtain the high quality photos. Then we are processing the images in RAW format, and we are saving them in JPEG format using maximum quality / low compression settings. What others do for money we do for pleasure.
