Aeonium (pinwheel), includes 35 species, all with succulent, not frost resistant leaves

Aeonium, sometimes called Pinwheel, is a kind of subtropical plant with succulent leaves. It is not resistant to frost, however has been cultivated in Europe since the 18th century as ornamentals. Includes a total of 35 species, most originating in the Canary Islands and some of northern Africa.
The image was created with a Nikon D60 camera and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX lens, using these settings: focal length – 55 mm, exposure time – 1/60 sec, ISO 100, lens aperture – 8.0.
