Among the young fir trees, one taller is distinguished, remaining from the old forest burned by a fire. From his generation it is the only one alive, on this area. It’s not old and, if the powerful winds from this mountain region will not subdue him, it will continue to dominate the landscape, for a long time.
The picture was captured with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX lens, using these settings: focal length – 18 mm, exposure time – 1/200 sec, ISO 100, lens aperture – 4.5.
