Raindrop hanging on a branch in spring

Trees that just have budded, were recently wetted by a short spring rain. Raindrops on their way to the Earth, met branches, from which leaked or remained hanging. The wind will tear them and they will eventually reach the ground or will evaporate. But until then every raindrop will act like a little lens, reminiscent of the precious stones.
The picture was created using a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D AF lens, with the following settings: focal length – 50 mm, exposure time – 1/200 sec, ISO – 100, lens aperture – F/1,8.
