Polygonum Amphibium (syn. Persicaria Amphibia) is native to Eurasia and North America. It grows in wet areas. Sometimes it behaves as an fully aquatic plant, being found at the surface of lakes, rivers or wetlands in water with depths of up to 3 meters, or by contrast, on dry land in wet regions of the meadows. In both cases it is the same, but often by mistake, is considered as being different species.
