The mixed forests of broadleaf and coniferous trees are found in the temperate zone at altitudes between 500 and 1500m. In winter the deciduous trees loose their leaves while the evergreen conifers keep their needles.
The image was taken using Nikon D40X camera with Nikon 55-200mm VR AF-S f/4-5.6G ED lens and these settings: exposure time – 1/500 seconds, F-number – 4, ISO – 200.
