The andesite cliff, which long ago was formed by the solidification of the lava, under the influence of the temperature variations and the erosion was incised with parallel cracks into small fragments, still constituting a compact wall, hanging above the abyss. But the process of disintegration is underway, and from time to time, pieces of rock from the edge, under the action of the gravity force, become detached and fall into the gap.
The picture was created with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikon 55-200mm VR AF-S f/4-5.6G ED lens using these settings: exposure time – 1/200 seconds, focal length – 200mm, ISO – 200, F- number – 7,1.
