The rocks known as “Claile lui Miron”, which translated means “Miron’s haystacks”, are located in the Ceahlau Massif – Romania. The whole mountain is composed of calcareous rocks, sandstones and conglomerates. Erosion over time has given rise to many rocks with interesting shapes, such is this one.
The image was created with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX lens, using these settings: focal length – 26 mm, exposure time – 1/320 sec, ISO 200, lens aperture – 4,2.
