In the mountain forests, there are many small rivers with pure water flowing between stones, partially covered by a thin layer of green moss. This is a plant that loves the shade and moisture, finding here almost ideal conditions to grow. And yet, in spring, when the snow melts, the water covers all the stones and the strong streams remove partially the vegetation, limiting its extension.
The picture was created with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX lens, using these settings: focal length – 31 mm, exposure time – 2 sec, ISO 100, lens aperture – 16
