Recently, on the fir forest’s soil, a light snow layer, was placed, covering it partially. Now, the sun rays are projected obliquely on a white layer of ice crystals, highlighting any irregularities from the soil’s surface. The elongated shadows of trunks and branches are also visible, showing the direction of the sun beams in which is bathing the whole image.
The picture was created using a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D AF lens, with the following settings: exposure time – 1/160 seconds, focal length – 50 mm, ISO – 200, F- number – 3.2.
