Piatra Ciobanului (Shepherd’s Stone) is a rocky formation located in the western part of Massif Ceahlau (Romania). The photo was captured on the tourist route which leads to the peak Toaca, from cottage Dochia, in the weak light of the sunset.
The image was created with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX lens, using these settings: focal length – 48 mm, exposure time – 1/200 sec, ISO 400, lens aperture – 5,6.
