Colibita Lake is located in the Calimani Mountains (Bistrita Nasaud – Romania), at an altitude of 900m, with an area of 270 ha and a length of 13 km. Colibita is a reservoir lake created in the period 1977-1991, by building of a dam on the Bistrita river. The beauty of the landscape, the air fresh and clean, the opportunity to fish (especially chubs and goldfish), attract many tourists here.
