A low altitude cloud ceiling is moving rapidly on the sky, being driven by a strong wind that may be felt, sometimes, on the ground surface. Now, a part of the fir forest is shaded, the sunlight continuing, for a short time, to pour over the rest of the landscape. It is a lovely August evening, although the light intensity is decreasing more rapidly in these forests from the mountain valleys.
The picture was captured with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikon 55-200mm VR AF-S f/4-5.6G ED lens, using these settings: exposure time – 1/200 seconds, focal length – 55mm, ISO – 400, F- number – 5,6.
