At the edge of a clearing with tall and dry grass, a small tree grew. Now it’s thin and fragile. But over time, year after year, it will develop, and in its shade, grass will not grow tall as now. Many other young trees are here. And so, slowly, the clearing will be swallowed by the forest, eventually becoming part of it.
