A pleasant noise can be heard from distance. In the steep river bed, over pieces of volcanic rock rounded by erosion, the water falling is continuously mixed with the air, creating a white foam. Drops break off from running water, sprinkling plenty of burdock leaves on the sides of the stream.
The image was taken using a Nikon D40X camera with Nikon 55-200mm VR AF-S f/4-5.6G ED lens and these settings: exposure time –1/200 seconds, focal length – 200 mm, ISO – 200, F- number – 5.6.
