Located near Peak Toaca (Ceahlau Massif), Panaghia cliff has a height of 80 meters. For its escalation, there are four climbing routes with medium difficulty. The rocks, that pierce from place to place the uniform green of coniferous forests, from ancient times have stimulated people’s imagination and thus were born a lot of legends. According to one of these, Panaghia was a beautiful girl who was turned into a stone.
