A thick layer of wet snow was deposited on each twig of this tree. White and fluffy, snow covers almost entirely the black branches that bend under its weight. The leafless tree branches are appearing to the viewer as a slightly curved network of well-defined segments, which are contrasting very well with the light-colored background.
The picture was created with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikon 55-200mm VR AF-S f/4-5.6G ED lens using these settings: exposure time – 1/50 seconds, focal length – 68 mm, ISO – 100, F- number – 5,6.
