The Hyacinth (lat. Hyacinthus orientalis) is a native plant in the Middle East, now spread worldwide. It blooms in spring. Its flowers are grouped 5 to 10 and can be pink, white, blue, orange, red and yellow. Hyacinth has an intense fragrance and in past their bulbs were very expensive, being considered a symbol of wealth.
