An ancient gray basalt wall gets older. Under the action of temperature variations and erosion finally will break down. For now is just a cracked stone with black and deep crevices, a home for the snakes. But, over the time, little by little, piece by piece, the entire rock wall will decay, resulting finally small sand particles.
