Crown Vetch (Securigera vary) blooms from the late spring to late summer. The plant has deep roots and is less demanding at soil quality, being currently used to control landslides. It is very resistant and is multiplying rapidly by seeds and rhizomes. Often, it eliminates other species from the occupied areas. For this reason, in many cases is considered a dangerous weed. The plant has also toxic effects due to the nitroglicozide content, causing paralysis or even death of the animals that ingest it in large quantities.
