A higher choline remained uncovered by water when, behind the Zillierbach dam (located in state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany), completed in June 1936, an artificial lake was formed. Now, this little lake island, covered with vegetation is an oasis for birds, many finding it a place suitable for nesting location.
The picture was created with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX lens, using these settings: focal length – 18 mm, exposure time – 1/160 sec, ISO 100, lens aperture – 3,5.
