Taul Stirbu called also Blue Lake, is located in the valley of the same name, in the south eastern part of the complex glacial Gemenele – a scientific reserve in Retezat Mountains (Romania). It is situated at an altitude of 2090 m, with a maximum depth of 9 meters and stretches over an area of 0.95 ha.
