On the Bistricioru peak, situated in the Calimani Mountains – Romania, the end of October brings the first snow of winter. But the tired sun rays, have still enough energy to melt the snow. Only the northern side of this peak, with an altitude of 1990 meters, is an exception, and the snow still persists. Soon, the snow will take over the entire mountain for the next six months.
