Under a thin layer of snow, the white woods are sleeping over winter, in a nearly perfect silence. Occasionally, the silence is broken by a cold wind that shakes the overloaded trees branches, freeing them, little by little, under the weight of ice crystals that are falling to earth as a fine powder.
The picture was created with a Nikon D40X camera and Nikon 55-200mm VR AF-S f/4-5.6G ED lens, using these settings: exposure time – 1/50 seconds, focal length – 55 mm, ISO – 100, F- number – 5,6.
